The Retina Specialists of Michigan, a leading provider of retinal care, has expanded its services with the opening of a new clinic in Muskegon and the addition of board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon Dr. Austen Knapp to its team. Located at 1250 Mercy Drive, the new clinic offers advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including high definition slit lamp imaging, fluorescein angiography, Heidelberg OCT and OPTOS Ultra-widefield Fundus Photography, B-scan ocular ultrasonography, and more.

Specializing in thorough and compassionate care, Dr. Knapp is now seeing new patients in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in ophthalmic research, contributing to numerous publications in leading journals such as Retina and JAMA Ophthalmology. Dr. Knapp earned her medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and is passionate about advancing the field of ophthalmology through education and mentorship.
